Involved in the business since 1999. Licensed in the lines of Health and Life, responsible for sales, marketing, and servicing of individual and group accounts. In addition he networks for the company with other businesses and organizations through his relationship and service with the Brown County Home Builders Association/Multifamily Association, Howard Suamico Business and Professional Association, Greater Green Bay Chamber, WAHU (WI Association of Health Underwriters).
Our History
Three generations of the Lenz family have found their niche serving the health insurance needs of individuals and businesses owners. Owner Jim Lenz has been an agent with G.H. Lenz and Associates since 1999, joining his father, Gordon, who founded the company in 1963 and nurtured it into an industry leader in Northeast Wisconsin. Gordon’s father, Harvey, was the first Lenz to build a career in insurance, as an insurance representative for Time Insurance.
Our Focus
For over 55 years, G.H. Lenz and Associates has provided individual and group employee benefits, with today’s focus being health, life, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability and Medicare.
Our Home
G.H. Lenz & Associates has always called the community of Howard, Wisconsin, its home, from the upstairs office in Gordon Lenz’s home to the current office on Velp Avenue.
Our Approach
As he was growing up, Jim saw clients come and go from their home in Howard, and he saw his father’s passion for helping people. Jim describes his dad as ethical, kind, and trustworthy—the same qualities Jim displays today as he provides group employee benefits and individual and family insurance plans to a wide range of clients.
Our Community
Community-minded his whole life, Gordon was a founding member of the Howard Suamico Business Professional Association. Each year, the Gordon Lenz Award is presented to a member the organization who goes above and beyond, like Gordon did during his lifetime. Gordon was actively involved in a variety of community organizations and diligently served insurance clients until his passing in 2012.
Our Legacy
The conference room of the Velp Avenue office is plastered with awards and appreciation certificates Gordon and Jim have received over the years. They serve as a testament to the Lenz family’s commitment to their clients and their community.
Our Future
